On Tuesday night, Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office arrested former Tennessee offensive lineman Mack Crowder in an apparent sting operation. Crowder, 23, was charged with four counts of sending material harmful to a minor and one count of using a computer for a prohibited purpose.

Amid wake of Title IX lawsuit, Butch Jones met, if not exceeded disciplinary expectations on accused players

On Tuesday, six women filed a federal lawsuit claiming the University of Tennessee has created a culture that “enables sexual assaults by student-athletes,” first reported by The Tennessean. The lawsuit claims indifference from UT officials, and cited head football Coach Butch Jones, Athletics Director Dave Hart, and Chancellor Jimmy Cheek specifically. While Hart and Cheek’s actions in accordance to Title IX regulations will need to be examined, Butch Jones took appropriate action in response to the sexual assault allegations against Tennessee players.
